When my pals and I are planning to go on a picnic, we all begin to designate stuff for each individuals to do. I always stop up getting the part that chooses out a spot where to hold the picnic. We have already been just about everywhere I could think of. We have done it at the park and the last time we did, ants were all over our plates not more than 15 minutes of playing hide and seek behind the trees.

Apparently, the ants were also playing tag on which food to infest first. The best part is they chose to take over my plate first. My plate, which had a slice of pizza, blueberry cheesecake, hotdogs and macaroni salad, seemed as if it were a big pile of red fire ants. If I didn’t pay too much attention, the next thing I’ll be eating would be soft food with a fat lip. So scratch the park off the list.

Just one of my buddies suggested that we check out a local mall and do our picnic at the food court benches. As if you ever will be able to still call that picnic if we do that. That is practically what we are doing in everyday. Drowning out on pizza and then later on, going to the arcade to get rid of several pounds with the interactive games they have there like Dance Dance Revolution (isn’t that a minimal bit 90’s?).

Anyway, the point is, we go to the mall almost just about every day. I want to set up a spot where we do not normally go and if we do, it will be an area where we will be looking forward to go to again after a number times. Besides, if we set up a big picnic cloth inside the mall and start a picnic group on the ground, we’d find ourselves in the mall’s administration office for scandal and misconduct in such a public venue and become the mall’s laughing stock.

So maybe we may attempt to have a picnic simply near the river. The only obstacle is we’d end up being the mosquitoes’ picnic food and obtain Dengue Fever instead of a memorable experience. Well, it shall be a very memorable experience. But of course, we don’t want to recall it that way. So we are staying out anywhere near the river as well. I virtually lost the battle on setting up the ideal place where to have our picnic when it suddenly hit me. Why not go to the beach? There exists a quiet side of the beach where no person really bothers to go to. It would certainly be a great way to have an exercise as well because it’ll be a spot that is not as accessible as the other beach front areas where you can just park your vehicle somewhere near.

A more uninhabited side would certainly be great. Walking to and from the place would be a superb way to delight in the breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. The authentic essence of going for a picnic is enjoying the destination, the food, and also the folks you are with anywhere.

Almost all of the folk retire. While some do it early to follow the goals they have set for themselves, sometimes folk take their time to retire. They delay it to the last possible example to make sure that they do not get the boredom of retirement. There are however a selection of things that you may take up when you retire.

There are loads of hobbies that one can take up after retirement. One free time pursuit that is preferred by many is gardening. All you will need for this hobby is a big lawn. In reality a very small garden too would serve the purpose perfectly. When you are amidst the company of plants you have a tendency to feel all the more chuffed. Likewise when you pass the time gardening, you also get to enjoy other joys like light and fresh air. the best would part about this past-time is that it lets you develop a new skill.

If you like being around water, then fishing could be a pleasant option for you. You can in fact take it up as a hobby big time. All you need to do is to go to a lake or pool, whichever is near and begin with your fishing. You can do this to kill your boredom and also when you have masses of time up your sleeve. The fish that you catch during this hobby practice can naturally be used as an add-on to your meals. You don’t need not want to always catch fish always. You can simply spend some moments around the lake and enjoy the serenity that the water offers.

One truly obvious free time interest for girls after retirement is knitting. Well if the men have an interest in this hobby then there’s nothing stopping you from picking up the knitting needles either. You need not target to become a perfectionist at knitting. Begin at your own rate. Begin with any knit of your liking. As and when you come to understand the skill better, you can switch to knitting some clothing, scarves, table covers and 1 or 2 others. The concept is to keep your hands in motion and so keep your intellect busy. If you’re too good at your practice, you can also consider gifting your mates some items that you have knitted on your own.

Yet one more hobby that you can take up after retirement is writing. You need not be a good writer and newshound for that reason. Simply maintain an individual diary and note down anything that you like or want. You can start with writing about everyday experience, all good and good. You can pen pen down the good and fun-filled times that you’ve had as a child. Writing not only helps you utilize the time but also helps ward away stress from your life. Simply write your thoughts and unburden yourself of the countless emotions that that you are in grip of.

Last but not the least ; partake of some scrapbooking. It is not said without reason that a picture is worth 1,000 words. You can start with picking up your pictures. Stack together all the pictures that you can lay your hands on. Photos from your youth, to adolesence, to parenthood to retirement…. everything can find a place in your scrapbook. Place them in a chronological manner in your scrapbook. This could make a great master piece for your youngsters and friends too.

So what are you waiting for? Simply induce your mother and father to incorporate any of the entertainments in their daily way of life. This will ensure that they like their retirement period to the hilt.
